About Bistro 1605

Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

This is an absolute hidden gem of a family owned and operated bistro! The staff were delightful, from the first greeting at the door. Smiles and welcoming kindness all the way around. Oh, and the food, you ask? Absolutely unique and delicious! The lunch special with half a sandwich with one or two sides. I hand the pimento sandwich with the house salad and cup of tomato basil soup. Every bite was scrumptious. That house salad with dried cherries and almonds, just perfect! If you are in High Point it is a MUST!

Loved this place! Felt like a country club outing. Kids were happy so momma was happy. Wait staff was super sweet and quick to refill a drink.I assume the cute little lady was the owner she was so friendly walking around and just checking on things. Food was delicious. Just enough for a good lunch. The sides were light and fresh no complaints. Nothing was overdone or had weird textures which was lovely. Great sweet tea!! No nasty after taste which was super nice not many places in the area have a good sweet tea imo. Was easy to eat with a toddler and they even gave us a plate to share without me even having to ask. Will come again!

Went here for dinner with a couple friends and had a really good experience. The food came out pretty quick, and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and both were cooked just right. The staff was friendly and checked on us a few times without being overbearing. The place was clean and had a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy the meal. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. Not every dish at our table was perfect, but overall everyone left happy. I'd definitely come back and try a few other things on the menu next time.

This place is a true gem in High Point. I ordered the Maddy with a scoop of their delicious chicken salad. It was wonderful. The Creamy Dreamy Vinagrette by The Little Black Dressing Company is one of a kind!
